Q. DO I NEED TO PREPARE FOR THIS PEEL?

No not at all

Q. HOW LONG IS THE DOWNTIME?

There is no downtime at all but avoid any strenuous exercise, hot showers or Saunas for 24 hours and ensure you wear SPF 50+ for the next week.

Q. CAN I COMBINE THE PEEL WITH ANOTHER TREATMENT

On arrival, we will take photographs for your medical record.
A topical anaesthetic (numbing cream) is applied 45-60 minutes before the treatment commences.
The treatment time depends on the area, but on average it takes about 30minutes.
We also allow a recovery period after the treatment to cool the skin before you leave.
This means that you should plan to be at the clinic for roughly 2 hours.

Q. AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR THIS TREATMENT?

This treatment is great for all skin types but especially for fragile, sensitive and barrier impaired skin.
We cannot treat you if you have sunburn
If you are taking prescription medicines for acne, please check with the team in advance if this could be problematic for you.

Q. HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?​

this is a maintenance type treatment and can be repeated every 2-4 weeks if you wish.

Q. ARE THERE ANY NEGATIVE SIDE EFFECTS?

This is a very safe treatment and so far, we have not seen any adverse effects.

• Avoid excessive heat/sweating/hot shower/sauna for 3 days post treatment
