Our clinic owner Deb had her first Clear & Brilliant Touch treatment more than a year ago at a clinic overseas - since then she has been furiously trying to get the manufacturer to bring it to Australia and finally, she succeeded!

This is a laser technology, but unlike any other, we have in the clinic currently, and it's going to be my personal new go-to treatment.

Ultimate Skin & Body is the first clinic in Australia to have this technology, so we have been vigorously testing it.

THE SCIENCE

Clear + Brilliant® TOUCH laser system (1440nm and 1927nm handpieces) is indicated for dermatological procedures requiring the coagulation of soft tissue and general skin resurfacing.

WHAT CONDITIONS DOES THE TECHNOLOGY TREAT?

​It has been clinically proven to fight the visible signs of ageing and environmental skin damage.

SUITABLE FOR: 

• Anyone who has had Fraxel previously (at least 4 weeks previously)
• Any age group worried about the above conditions

WHO IS NOT SUITABLE

Anyone with any of the following is unsuitable for this treatment

• diagnosis / possibility of actinic keratosis, skin cancer, active infections, cold sores, open wounds, rashes, burns, inflammation, eczema, psoriasis
• predisposition to keloid formation or excessive scarring,
• compromised immune system, such as HIV, lupus, scleroderma, and/or systemic infections,
• known sensitivity to light or if photosensitising agents/medications are being taken,
• systemic steroids (e.g. prednisone, dexamethasone), 
• use of prescription retinoids should be avoided for at least 2 weeks prior to and during treatment 
• Individuals undergoing treatment with certain acne drugs (please confirm with our team if you are on acne medications)
• Open wounds/ recovering from a recent cosmetic procedure
• injectables within two weeks of treatment
• pregnancy or breastfeeding

Q. When will I see results from Clear & Brilliant TOUCH? How long will they last?

The results of treatment are both immediate and progressive. A few days after the treatment, the skin will start to feel softer, look brighter and show a more even tone and less redness. Results can continue over several months depending on age, skin condition and how you protect your skin.

Q. Do I need to prep for treatment?

Yes, most skin types will need to prepare for 2-4 weeks before treatment to obtain the best results.

Q. What is the downtime?

On the day of treatment you may be a little red although this will subside quickly. You are able to apply ISSADA Baked Powder Mineral Makeup after if you wish.

 Q. Is Clear & Brilliant TOUCH a Good Treatment for Melasma & Pigmentation?

Yes - The Clear + Brilliant Perméa treatment is optimised for treating all pigmentation, including Melasma (also known as "pregnancy mask"). To treat Melsama effectively we combine a 4-week preparation process with the C&B treatment.

Q. Is Clear & Brilliant TOUCH a Good Treatment for Lines & Wrinkles?

Yes - Clear and Brilliant TOUCH is an excellent treatment for lines and wrinkles as it stimulates new collagen and elastin which helps form plumper. tighter skin.

Yes - Clear & Brilliant will treat superficial redness in the treatment area, and will strengthen the skin with new collagen production too.
